Carmen Fago won the seven-figure sum playing the "777" scratch-off game. He told lottery officials he was in total shock when he realized he'd won the grand prize.
Fago chose to take the lump sum payment of $2.6 million (before taxes) rather than the annuity.
He said he plans to pay off his truck with the cash, but other than that, he doesn't expect to change up his daily routine.
Fago bought the ticket at Mac’s Auto Repair at 77 E. Main St. in Webster. The repair shop will receive a $40,000 bonus for the sale.
The state lottery said three $4 million "777" tickets remain in circulation, and six more $1 million winners are still available.
